Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account data — your email and the profile details you choose to add (name, bio, roles, links). Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito.
• Content you create — films, festivals, comic-IP listings, messages, and related media you upload or enter.
• Payment data — ticket and entry-fee payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers; Stripe returns only a confirmation and the last digits.
• Usage data — basic logs (pages requested, timestamps, IP, device/browser) used to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide the platform — run premieres, process tickets and submissions, and surface your work.
• To secure accounts and prevent abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account, transactions, and (if you opt in) the waitlist or product updates.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run IndieHouse — primarily Amazon Web Services (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Amazon Cognito (authentication) — and where required by law.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies — a session cookie to keep you signed in and, during the closed preview, an access cookie for the preview gate. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile at any time, and request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal or accounting reasons.
